Sales Manager
Job Description:
Sales Manager utilizes superior sales skills as company liaison to respond to inquiries and carry out requests from customers, vendors, and team members. This position interacts with customers to create and foster long-term meaningful relationships; and manages the quoting and dispute resolution process with each customer. In this position, you will provide customer support to the Vice President of Business Development and Executive Management team, and work closely with other Managers, Customer Support Professionals and Operations team members.
Job Functions:
- Communicate market trends, competitive info, new opportunities and the voice of the customer to the organization; Initiate product revenue growth strategies including product family positioning, market and competitive analysis, market segmentation and market penetration.
- Prospects for new business for any product or service SK AeroSafety Group USA offers its customers by visiting, phone calls as well as email for all SK AeroSafety Group companies or subsidiaries. Develop and execute sales plans and business development strategies for delivering profitable revenue growth.
- Must be comfortable and highly effective working in a virtual environment and have the ability to travel to corporate offices when required for sales meetings
- This position collaborates with Sales teams to formulate sales strategies and programs for revenue growth and target metrics.
- Position requires travels up to 30 % for customer meetings, company sponsored events, trade shows, conventions, training seminars. There may be times where travel is required outside of normal Monday – Friday business hours.
- Interface with senior leadership and communicate at all levels internal and external to the company.
- Informs customers; prepares quotes and sends to customer; forwards approvals to appropriate departments; and prepares customer status reports or responds to customer requests.
- Works to prepare company presentations, look up pricing for services, and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner in an effort to conduct the required duties of a Sales Manager with the end goal of closing new and repeat business with existing and non-existing customers.
- Work with cross functional global teams to define and implement specific value propositions for customers based on value selling with other SK AeroSafety Group USA and International locations.
- Leverage current portfolio of products and services that is aligned with usual product offerings and business strategies to drive growth.
- Support financial reporting including forecasting, budgets, and quarterly reporting requirements; provide accurate forecasting for short and long-term bookings and maintains a sales funnel for tracking new business opportunities.
- Create insightful and action-oriented business plans utilizing marketing and financial tools to communicate roadmap for sustained differentiation and growth.
- CRM Entries: Make regular and routine entries for your sales activities in the SK AeroSafety Group CRM program, in an effort to provide meaningful transparency among “Sales and Management” co-workers and as a way to document for future reference.
- Provide “Visit Reports” after customer meetings, and events where customer interaction occurs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements and Preferences:
- Proficient typing and data entry skills required
- Strong skills in written and verbal communications skills required
- Solid negotiation, time management, planning and presentation skills required
- Ability to learn and use Quantum software
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills required
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required
- High School graduate or equivalent required
- Aviation background preferred
- College degree preferred
