Traditionally, August marks the busiest month for UK airports but this June has certainly seen an impressive uplift in departures. With airlines launching a number of new routes, the UK had some 63,579 scheduled departures from our airports.
It’s not just the airports that have been incredibly busy over the past months – SK AeroSafety Group has seen some significant events during June and we are excited to share with you a number of things our teams have achieved:
The team at Avia Technique were awarded the, ‘We invest in people, gold accreditation’. Gold accreditation means that we have the policies in place but more than that, it means everyone – from CEO to apprentice – takes ownership for making them come to life.
Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Avia Technique. Gold accreditation on, ‘We invest in people’ is a fantastic effort for any organisation and places Avia Technique in fine company, with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”
Avia Technique took a second award during June claiming the ‘Small employer of The Year Award‘ from West Berkshire Training. SK AeroSafety is committed to ongoing investment in our people and being recognised for our dedication to supporting, encouraging and nourishing our teams.
At SK AeroSafety Group we pride ourselves on providing exceptional learning opportunities for our staff, empowering them to expand their knowledge, enhance their skills, and reach their full potential. This month, we celebrated the graduation of 5 students who achieved their ‘Institute of Leaders and Management’ qualification. Our next cohort of students are just starting out and we hope they are inspired and encouraged by the success we have seen this month.
The management team also attended the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg and MRO BEER in Poland. Attending these shows provided a unique opportunity to engage with both old and new customers, fostering valuable connections and nurturing business relationships. Amidst the vibrant atmosphere, we reconnected with existing customers, taking the chance to deepen the bond and gain insights into their evolving needs and preferences. These encounters encourage open dialogue, allowing the company to address any concerns, provide updates on new offerings, and express gratitude for continued support.
Simultaneously, these shows offered an exciting platform to interact with potential customers who are discovering the company for the first time. Engaging with these new prospects presents the chance to showcase products or services, highlight unique selling points, and establish a favourable impression. Each interaction, whether with familiar faces or fresh prospects, contributes to expanding networks, building trust, and ultimately propelling the company towards sustained growth and success.
